When Equiplite brought out  their lightweight Soft Connectors and Snatch Blocks several years ago, the grand-prix world took notice. They defined beautiful engineering simplicity and led the field in terms of soft-loop lashings, taking advantage of the development and widespread use of braids such as Spectra and Dyneema.

MASTERS OF LIGHTWEIGHT (text from Yachting World | June 2010)
Having started as a small operation in Australia, Equiplite are the masters of lightweight deck gear, specialising in DSK 75 Ultra (Dyneema) lashings. The company claim these offer significant weight reduction over other furling assemblies of the same load  - typically 60 percent lower drum weight with the 1:1 and 40 percent with the 2:1 drums.
There top swivels integrate into the halyard or lock system (doing away with a halyard swivel) for minimum weight and rig damage and maximum luff lenght.

Monaco Yacht Show 2010

Equiplite Europe will be at the Monaco Yacht Show 2010 on the first two days of this international exhibition for luxury yachts. The 20^th Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) will be held from Wednesday 22 to Saturday 25 September 2010 and is open from 10 am to 6:30 pm.

The MYS considers itself to be representative of the luxury yachting sector. Equiplite Europe is experienced in this kind of segment with super yachts as "Marie" (180 ft), Athos (204 ft), Lady B, Baltic (112 ft) and formula one racing yachts as Alinghi (30mtr / 90 ft) and the Open 60 Imoca "Temenos II".
